I worked as a professional pick up man for 18 years. Picking up has taught me a lot about how to set my horse up with buttons that serve the highest pressured situations. I was able to learn from some of the legends in the industry like Del Northcott, Gary & Wade Rempel, Jim Kelts, Dwight Dokken, Keith Pengelly, Terry Leeder and many more. I have and continue to constantly learn and fine tune what I do everyday. We have retired our best mares from the pickup string and are working on developing a bloodline of working performance horse that has the athleticism, heart, endurance and the mind to be a great partner. Our horses are like family and are given a lot of variety in their foundation to be solid and confident so people can feel safe with them. They work from all areas including colt starting, barrels, roping, ranching and programs with people.
