Ringo is a 9yr old 15.2hh registered paint bay gelding we purchased fall of 2024. He was started as a 2yr old, then got put on the back burner. I put a refresh on him, and added some buttons to finish him off and then went right to cowboying on him. I started picking up on him spring of 2025, he has been hauled to Pro Rodeos this summer and handled everything I could throw at him from huge loud crowds, picking up broncs, being hauled and life on the road. He has been to brandings and pulls hard from the horn. Ringo is great in the bush and doesn’t hesitate to cross creeks or bogs. I have been heading steers on him and he is handling the box very well and hunting the steers.

He does have a scar on his back left foot from a rope (it was there when I got him) It does not affect him in any way. He will paw sometimes if he is tied up and can’t see any other horses, but if he can see one then he is fine. He can act a little spooky on the ground, but it’s all for show.

 I am really proud of this gelding and how far he has come since the day I got him. If you are looking for a nice, strong, old school ranch gelding, that can go all day? He’s your guy!
